| Every person in Virginia should have access to effective and affordable healthcare, period. We must vigorously defend Medicaid expansion in our state to ensure that our most vulnerable citizens are not using the emergency room as a doctor�s office. In addition to Medicaid expansion, Virginia should design a public option plan to generate competition in the healthcare market. This would dramatically reduce the cost of coverage and prescription drugs in our state. The system has been rigged for too long against middle-class and working families. |
